Looks similar to my friends Huskamute (Musky X Malamute), she's bigger than a husky, but to be fair I didn't realise quite how small and compact huskies were until I met 2 on a walk, prior to that I thought they were similiar in size to my friends.

Probably a husky, long coats crop up now and then (very much a fault), I don't see any mal there.

Lots of people have remarked on how they expect huskies to be bigger than they are, mine are well over breed standard at 24" and people still ask what they are because 'they're too small to be huskies'. Oh, and the very short coated one can't possibly be a husky because she's not fluffy enough. And the piebald one isn't a husky because he's white with spots and no mask. And neither of them are huskies because they don't have blue eyes.

The eyes are blue, and it's very small. Smaller than Dax, the fluff adds a lot of size to it. It's male and just over a year old..

gosh- i would have thought that huskies were taller than that too! what is the max height for the breed standard then?

xx

Oi!!!

Well you never know, maybe in a few years time they will suddenly get trendy, people will start paying through the nose for them, the breed registry will realise they are missing a trick and you will eventually be able to show and breed from them just like the short coats. Cough cough :p :p :p

Looks to me like someone threw a rough collie at a husky and this is what happened...
Aparently he is full, and cost a fair few quid.

Shouldn't be paying any extra for a woolie, it's a fault because they get waterlogged and take ages to dry out, not what you want in a sled dog in freezing conditions. Then again when did working criteria have anything to do with fashionable pet dogs. :p

Ah, if it's anything like what is happening to a lot of other breeds, faulty colour and coat types which used to be hushed up, brushed under the carpet, sold for cheap to pet homes, not bred from or even, like it or not, culled, are now sold with an extra zero on the end because they are 'rare' :o :o :o

I heard someone in the pub the other night going on about getting a long haired rottweiler and how rare they are.

My OH practically put his hand over my mouth and bought me another drink to stay stum.

Yours are not huskys!!! They are ASBO wolves or snootles :) duh!!

I'm not speaking to said snootlewolves this evening, while I was out today Dax stole a lipstick from the coffee table and ate it. She hasn't done anything like that for months and it's all the more bizarre because I don't usually wear lipstick and it's never left the bottom of my makeup bag before now. Expecting a poo in a delicate shade of 'pink beehive' tomorrow. :D
