As title?

Need some new full seat (beige/cream) breeches as planning to actually get out to some parties in the next few months. Currently have Cavallo and Pikeur full seat (UK size 26/28 irrc) for everyday and LOVE them but don't want to spend £££ on something which I'll only wear maybe once a month! However, since investing in nice breeches I find my old cheapy ones just feel eughh, especially cheaper FS ones which seem rigid and horrible, so don't want to spend ~£50 on something which I won't end up wearing because I don't feel comfy in them!

Anyways, I'm waffling!!!

Anyone have any of the above (full seat) and if so how do they compare to the likes of Cavallo and Pikeur in terms of fit, stretch, comfort, design and size?

I've just brought some full seat hv polo ones, I think they are the sosa model, I love them, really stretchy all over, nice thick material. I have a few hkm pairs, just for at home, which I like too, but I find the material varies alot between models, I have one pair that I love, and another that are a bit restricting, and fall down! I am a fan of the nice high waisted cavallos too. Never had horze ones.

Will look at the Horka ones too, I have a funny feeling my feed merchants stocks them too which could be useful!

Good to know about the HV polo ones... out of interest how did they compare size-wise to Cavallo?

I really like these but not sure if they'd be OK for dressage with the pocket and stitching (albeit only unaff)?

Are they the ones you have and how smart are they? Don't suppose you have any pics of you riding in yours?

Yes they are the ones I have (in brown, olive and beige :D). They are quite generous sizes I think, I am generally a 28/30 in cavallo (usually a 30!) and I got size 40 I think in the hv polo ones, which I think is a 28 and they are perfect. Got them from http://www.chaskits.co.uk/product_cat_view.php?product_ref=90782&cat=110042 which was cheapest I found.

I havent any photos of me in mine, I think they are perfectly acceptable to wear for dressage - the pocket is the only thing which stands them out, and you are generally sat on that, or your jacket should cover :)

Not tried any of the above but wondered if you had thought about Mark Todds? I have a few of this brand in full seat breeches and they are lovely, very comfy and as nice as the more pricer ones I own. think my last pair were around £60.

I love cavallo/pikeur too. But have recently brought some hv polo ones and they are fabulous! Really comfy and seem to be really hard wearing too. Size wise I buy as I would normally.

Sounds like HV polo might be the way to go then! I actually quite like the look of the Sosa as they are a bit different too and would make nice lessons/training breeches. Off to see if I need anything else on there to get free delivery!

Have looked at MT but found that to get them to fit on the waist they were loose on the hips and legs but where they fitted everywhere else they were tight on the waist??? (I have minimal curves and tend to wear kids jods if I can get hold of them!)
