Hypocare by Horseware Ireland - Anyone use it?

I bought it for the horse but used it on the cat! It worked really well - and now you've reminded me I'll take it back up to the stables....

I was very sceptical, but after trying literally everything else on stubborn mud fever, I used hypocare and it disappeared in a few days.

I've used a couple of bottles but didn't find it lived up to the rather OTT claims on the ads. Used it for mud fever and thrush but quite honestly any old wound cleanser is just as good.
It is handy to have around if you don't want to dilute hibiscrub, iodine or salt and water but its an expensive alternative for the convenience.

Am interested as just bought some as was on special offer at feed merchants. Am a sucker for new stuff but advertising is very well done

Useful for lorry first aid box I thought.

Personally I didn't find it lived up to what I had expected from the advertising/online reviews.

Brought it for my mares skin condition and was assured it would kill bacteria and fungal infections but it didn't work for me-luckily the vets shampoo did but perhaps the Hypocare just wasn't strong enough?

I've got a bottle at the stables anyway, just in case I need it.

Everyone says its cured their mud fever in days also, my mares mud fever didn't change at all when I used it on it although I didn't use as regularly as it said on the bottle (I think from memory three times daily) as my mare decided she hated the spray going anywhere near her:rolleyes:
