Just wondering what everyone thinks of a horses value of the below description.

16.2hh KWPN rising 12 yrs. Very willing and snaffle mouthed in all disciplines. big expressive paces, large scopey jump (clears 1.20 track). competed BSJA (up to newcomers and with winnings) and BE100 on a ticket. Also unaffiliated dressage - prelimary with 65-70% with a non-dressage-y rider). would suit teenager to show ropes and progress through levels with in any discipline, or more advanced rider to compete at higher levels. (would foxhunter and could BE novice - if not more on both counts!) very polite, anyones ride. decent conformation. no issues and totally vice free.

I'd guess around 6000 but not really sure

(sorry to those who dont like these, this is hypothetical and is in no way advertising in any way at all - she is def not up for sale!!)

Thanks everyone, just interested in your opinions, as unsure how much she'd be worth.. so much harder to guess once they get to around 12yrs.. i think most people like to get 8 yr olds! but just my opinion...

as she is not up for sale she is worth whatever you like to you as long as she does the job asked. so hypothetically not really worth commenting on and as no pics to judge well ............................................................. but her residual value for breeding will depend on her breeding and confo. and value will start to drop from 12 onwards esp if a maiden mare.

ok thanks for getting back to me,

the reason i started thinking about horse price is that i know i will have to sell her in a year or two (shes 10 now) and just wondering what kind of price, as have never looked for a horse of such experiance and age myself, and dont know much what the market is like for such a brilliant animal :)

thanks x

wow she has dropped 2 years in half an hour! better to sell younger so if you are going to sell try to sell under 12 years old! but add quality milage ie BE, BD, and BSJA (or BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) the more points the better ! and build up a good CV with photos, and dressage sheets!
