Hyundai Terracan 2.9 CRTD

Yes. I have towed with two of them. An 07 plate which I liked so much I bought my own on a 05 plate :)

Bl00dy love it for towing. Don't know the trailer is there even with two on board :)

Thanks. We have decided to concentrate on Jeep Cherokee's / Mitsubishi Shogun's / Land Rover Discovery's for our search this week/end as the Terracan is a £460 tax bracket!!!

Also why would towing with that car require any different licence to what I tow with already? I am (sadly) almost 37 so I think my licence is adequate being as I am "old" school :)
I did not say it did - I said the driver needs to be under B+E licence rules and if you passed car test before 1997 then you have B+E

I haven't towed with much else (sorrento and the Mitsi Shogun sport) but I rate it over both of them easily.

It gets 32mpg day to day and over 35 on a long run and it's cheap as chips to fix when it goes wrong (which it doesn't do very often)

Mine isn't in that tax bracket as it's before 2006. I deliberately bought one before then to avoid the hike in tax.

The Shogun will be in the same tax bracket I'm sure. My friends (the Sport mentioned above) definitely is and that's only a 2.5L engine

ETS: when I get some money and can buy an equitrek and need the whole 3.5 capacity the proper shogun (not the crappy sport) is first on my list so glad you like it JoBo :)

Really? Not in that tax bracket? I looked online at its age, the one I wanted to look at was 2004 I think....ooooh interesting I shall check again (getting excited again now!)

O I don't know. I can't remember how much it cost to tax. I know it's about half my friends Mitsi as hers is newer.

Hers is nearly £500 for six months

It shows on internet as high co2 emmissions (higher than mitsu/jeep of same age) + says £460 a year....thats nearly £40/month for potholes?!

Have to wait til I speak to the dealer I guess. No fear of me buying one newer than 2006 - i'm too poor!!
