Hyundai Terracan

Hi, I have a Terracan and use it to tow as well as an everyday car for work. I find it much more economical than many 4x4's I have had. Very reliable too. [So far!]

Friend has a terracan, it pulls her big equitrek trailer no problem.
Only been a passenger in it, but nice car.
Must be coming up 3 years old and she has had no probs with it.
Has the power to pull the heavier trailers which alot of other 4x4's cant manage.

Thanks for the responses so far guys

How do the service costs gofor this car?

I currently run a 06 Astra and roughly it costs me £40 a week petrol, £215 a year road tax.

How would this compare to a Terracan.

I am maybe 250 miles a week

I run a Terracan as an every day car as well as having it for towing. I do about 450 miles a week and use a full tank of fuel which costs about £70. The road tax price will depend on the year of the car, mine is an 04 and is £215 this year but will be a lot more from next year.
I have all my services done at a main Hyundai dealer as until June it was still under warranty and the average price is about £200. But the big services are more expensive (£500ish). I have it serviced every 10 000 miles so thats twice a year for me.
