I actually feel sick

These stories make me feel sick as well. I still have the photo's from the police report from when my old mare Teasle was stabbed in the face.

To think I was greatful that that was all they did to her just speaks volumes about how sick these people can be. If it was kids, I honestly don't know how you would handle them. It's unthinkable cruelty :(

Poor horse and owners, cannot imagine what sick pleasure they gain from doing this- I think the vets should get out the euthanasia drugs and have those people that are responsible put down too!

That is heart breaking for the owner and all related to them.

Stories like this make me wish punishment fit the crime, if they can attack a poor horse what will they do next?? a dog, someone in thier class?

The poor poor horse, such a magnificant trusting fellow. Did not deserve such a calous attack I hope they find the kids / person involved..

RIP boy :(

It is absolutely appalling and very disturbing as it is well known that many psychopathic killers start with harming animals and then move on to people.
What really perturbs me though is that there were 'eye-witnesses'. WTH were they doing allowing the attack to continue?

I know where this is and used to keep my horse very near by. It's very open and very flat and horse shows are regularly held there. Apparently the eye witnesses weren't just stood at the children's side while they did this but could see from a distance and stepped in to stop the attack.

It makes you wonder what we are breeding. I remember the poor little Bulger boy some years ago and the defence tried to make out them evil pair didnt know they were doing wrong. sorry my daughter was young and knew to hurt someone/something was wrong.WHERE ARE THE PARENTS ? . Sorry it angers me so much

What a beautiful horse.
The attitude that children don't know whats right or wrong is ridiculous, of course children know that 'hurting' is wrong. Not one single child that I know would so much as raise a hand to an animal let alone a weapon and I'd be confident in saying they would try and stop a peer if they saw them doing so. Mind you, with some of the so called parenting I have witnessed not much suprises me, especially where violence is the norm. Still not excusable though.

Couldn't leave this without saying how sorry I am; what a lovely looking horse and this is just horrible, mindless, awful. No words can describe.

WTF didn't the bystanders intervene? surely they could see what these kids were doing......... but then again in this stupid litigacious society we've got you daren't tell someone else's monster kids off for anything or else you'll get accused of paedophilia.

Poor beautiful horse. Poor owner.

Oh my god, how disgusting! I just don't understand why though? What motivates people to do something like that? His poor owner must be heartbroken :frown4:
