I ACTUALLY RODE AFTER 6 MONTHS ?

Long story short, Shy, 13, has developed COPD over the last year, no known cause. We thought we might lose him 6 weeks ago, and everything veterinary was thrown at him...still heaving and coughing. I came up with a blend of garlic and eucalyptus oils, and since then, not one heave or cough, I cant BELIEVE it ? . So today was a trial ride, and he was striding out full of beans. So happy ! Little one Pepsi, 32, loved being out too. Very happy mum.

My friends horse is on last chance vet medication, nebulisers etc, what type of garlic and eucalyptus and the dose did you use... she is desperate..

What a lovely happy post, so pleased for you. What luck to hit on a concoction that has worked so well, was it just trial and error?

I tried similar home made remedies years ago on an older mare with COPD, unfortunately nothing I tried worked so had to be Ventapulmin and I seem to recall it was very expensive back then. So glad you have got it sorted for Shy, and for you of course ?
