I admire her for her savvy tbh. Can't say I admire everything she does. But no, not marmite exactly as there are bits of her I like and bits I don't.

Wheras marmite... I hate ALL of it!!! Bleurrrrrgh, yuk.
 
I will openly admit to admiring KP, she has with minimal observable talent (less the obvious) started a number of now successful businesses, during a recession, she is absolutely bloody minded I want a pink horsebox, I've worked hard ,I'm having a pink horsebox. I can't fault that at all. (I too am of an age when I should know better then to love pink but I do, it cheers up my dreary business world. She has always loved horses from a young age rode/owned and now buys the best, which one of us doesn't have that lotto dream of the perfect yard. Yes she has made some appalling choices in men, I can't throw any stones there as I've had some stinkers in my time, she at least makes some money from her disasters :-)
 
She goes out and gets what she wants, I admire her guts and determination even when 3/4 of the population seem to dislike her. (Which is barmy as how can you dislike someone you don't know?)
 
I've always admired her determination :) everything she's got she's built for herself from nothing, she's an excellent business woman and good on her for making a go of it with her horses :)
 
I would admire her if she hadn't taken every opportunity to sell her children, and especially the disabled child to the media. That level of calculated marketing of ones own children makes me sick. For that I have no time for her at all.

Why does that not suprise me , people who strive for sucess do so for many reasons it's difficult to say whether having been in the position where you are the centre of attention it's becomes what your used to or that's your motivation for sucess in the first place.
I admire the way. She's worked hard and she sells her self hard .
I dont admire or like the way she looks which I think is frankly ridicoulous .
If I had money like that I too would lots of expensive horses pink lorries well not pink but my version of pink however I don't want to hear about her horsey exploits girl with bit tits stays on horses back without falling off is not newsworthy and being treated to her views in eventing magazine this month was enough to make me seriously think of not renewing my subscription .
 
Frankly? I can't find anything to admire about her at all. Obviously I don't know her personally. She may well be perfectly pleasant. I don't like the image she portrays in the media, I don't like the way she has exploited her children and I think her equestrian range is nasty, tacky and cheap looking. A bit like her really ;)
 
I always used to stick up for her but it really (irrationally, as its cock all to do with me!) annoyed me when she got married to the latest bloke after knowing him a couple of months, if she didn't have kids then all is well, but she has 3 small children who must be totally bewildered by the quick turnaround of step fathers living with them ... I can't understand why a Mum would do that?

I actually think she has some deep psychological issues to be honest. She looks so much more attractive without all the cr*p she puts on her face and before she started messing with botox, her lips etc etc. That to me is a sign of body dysmorphic disorder although I am sure she'd never admit it. She craves attention and to be loved which is quite sad really - I don't understand why she can't just be happy being in a relationship wuth someone instead of rushing in to marriage.

I don't actually think she has exploited her children (no more than Peter) and you hardly ever see Harvey on TV but I think it was actually a good thing to show the struggles a parent, even one with all the help she has, faces with a child with so many difficulties. She is a canny business woman and she is probably living some of the dreams she had as a kid riding ponies so i applaud her for that - not many of us get the chance, i do hipe one day though she will actually finally be happy with who she is and stop messing about with her appearance!
 
having two quite severely disabled step-kids (although not as bad as Harvey) that are also autistic I actually applaud her showing that side of her life on TV. I agree she's a good business woman and I don't begrudge her the horses, the pink stuff etc. I do wonder at the constant need to be married with young kids around though.

It wasn't until Peter's management got hold of her and turned her into "Kate" and then started putting deals together for her that she started to make money - the KP Equestrian, the books, the perfume - it was all their doing.

As for riding, well having seen her compete in the flesh, she's very average - in fact she managed to do a whole circle on the wrong diagonal!
 
After somehow finding myself watching a few clips on YouTube of her programme 'What Katie Did Next' - no, I don't admire her. In fact, I very much dislike her.

As a rider, I'm sure I watched a clip once of her trotting on the wrong diagonal (fine, I'm sure we all do it - but not whist practising Dressage... *facepalm*).

She fancies herself waaay too much.

I don't care, she doesn't affect my life in any way, I can't see that she's ever been cruel to her horses. If I had her money I would be buying what I considered the best horses too and keeping them on the best yard I could afford and hiring the best trainer I could. She's earned her money

She had made a hefty amount of money long before meeting Pete as Jordan. She was infinitely more famous than Pete at the time in this country. And in all likelihood had the bank balance to prove it.

What's interesting is the way she has moved from making money from being young and having a good set of knockers, to being something of a marketing phenomena based on everybody buying into the idea that "being young and having a good set of knockers" is not all there ever was.

But then the whole of Hollywood is based on the same. Young actor/actress gets their break from being drop dead georgeous and spends the next forty or more years telling everybody that it was all down to their amazing talent.:D
 
I admire her. She has done well for herself without, seemingly, much inherited fame and fortune.

She MUST be on here !!! Come on, who is she ??!! :)

I agree, sometimes though she does make me cringe, but you can't deny her drive and determination, she is a self made woman all the way.
 
I feel very sorry for her, she has the ability and money to have anything and everything she wants and seems so unhappy in her own skin. She craves constant attention from what seems to be the whole world and she has had too much plastic surgery to reach what she thinks is perfection whilst all the while spoiling her natural beauty. It would appear that she has to do something outrageous when her 'popularity' wanes just to keep her in the limelight and if that means exploiting her children so be it. Very, very sad but if she is reading this thread she will love the fact that she is the centre of it.:D
 
I can't stomach her. I watched one of her very first reality shows when she had just found out she was pregnant with Harvey and she got so drunk she could hardly stand up. That was it for me.

I certainly wouldnt want any of the young girls in my family aspiring to be like her.
 
I'm a fan! She's literally everything I want to be (other than fake) :p
Pink, Horse savvy, nice house, businesses, fame, glamour, money!
(also not keen on the attention seeking side of things)
Might sound stuck up but i'd love to live like her!!
 
I don't think she's a horrible person and she's definitely an excellent business woman but I don't like how she portrays herself, she really doesn't come across very well (imo anyways).
 
I don't mind her, I actually think Peter Andre exploits the kids more than she does. Didn't realise she had another bun in the oven!
