I admire Katie Price - when a conversation goes bad...

I don't like how people can so easily 'hate' celebrities, I think it is quite a nasty part of human nature that everyone seems to need to hate someone (personally I find Jessie J beyond irritating but I don't hate her!) Oh well we're only human. She's got a lot of things we'd all love to have but she is an example that money can't buy talent or respect.

I admire her for getting what she wants and for showing the world that you don't have to be stupid to be a glamour model. I still hate that industry but I think she is a strong woman.

I expect she is very insecure, she sure gets a hard time of it in the press, and I think being famous only makes that kind if thing worse, not better!
 
I think she actually lacks confidence and deep down she's very insecure. I've worked in similar industries and its quite common for the girls to have a similar 'front' (no pun intended lol) I admire her business sense, she's smart and knows how to make her money. I dislike the way she bought into the dressage when theres better riders out there that will probably never make it due to funds, but I suppose that's just life. Her horses are gorgeous.

I beg to differ because I think stupid is a very apt description and as to her being strong I am obviously seeing something you are not as I feel she is very vulnerable and easily led by all around her who pamper to her outrageous side probably to get what they want out of her. As I said earlier I feel very sorry for as I don't think she is ever going to be satisfied with life. :(

I consider the way she first made her money to be so morally repugnant that anything she has 'achieved' after that is worthless (except in monatary terms). I wonder how many on here would have admired her if the money had been made by her being a high money prostitute, which is not many steps away from how she began imo
 
I wouldnt feel any differently if she was a prostitute, as long as she wanted to do it (and was paying tax) but I've worked in lap dancing clubs and swingers clubs (bar supervisor- not doing it) so I've seen the good, bad and the ugly lol
 
Shes a strange one. I'm not really sure how I feel about her.

Initially she was just "another glamour model" to me, then she went on I'm a Celebrity and I saw another side to her, fun, able to laugh at herself, and up for a challenge, so she went up in my opinion.

Its interesting to read that she joined Pete's management - they are obviously able to get blood from a stone, just from the fact that they've kept him in the spotlight for the past 20yrs with only one hit single and not that much about him, so no wonder they came up with millions of ways for Katie Price to make money!

I feel very sorry for the kids, there really is no hope for them with their money/fame chasing parents.

Katie Price is constantly getting married and chasing fame as that is what she does for a living nowadays. Her looks are pretty much gone, she won't make money from them anymore, so she chases the OK magazine. Its sad really. she ought to be able to retire and enjoy the rest of her life in luxury, but she is caught in the "pedestal trap", where, once they've been up there they don't want to come down. Robbie Williams is a similar type.
