Land and stables on the market....as is house. Had loads of viewings sinnce Friday which is all good. Mum very ill and I am caring for her. Plus I have 2 children, the youngest is 2.

Have today admitted defeat! I am putting the two ponies in full livery next week for a couple of months to give me a break and them, the work they need.

Sometimes, you just can't do it all.....especially when its stressful times.

Hope I'm doing the right thing.

I think it will be a weight off your mind if the horses are taken care of for you. It is
hard work and when you are trying to balance everything, it will take some of the stress away. Hope your mum gets well soon and good luck with the viewings. Its the right time of year for the property market to get moving. Your bound to feel more relaxed now and have time for your children.

Poor you, sounds like you are having an awful time. I'm sure ponies will be happy as long as they are being cared for. Make sure you take some time for you so that you don't get too exhausted and take care of yourself. Hope you quickly find buyers and it all goes smoothly and that your mum gets well soon.

of course you are doing the right thing. You have an awful lot on your plate and sometimes you have to do things to keep the stress levels from going through the roof to the extent that you just physically and mentally can't cope. In that situation, something has to give. You can't do anything about your mum, the house, the children, so the only thing in the equation that you can do something about is the ponies. You are doing what is best for everyone involved. They will be fine, well looked after and exercised. You can go and spend time with them when you need some 'me' time and can get away. Don't beat yourself up about it. I really hope that things improve for you soon x
ps and it's not admitting defeat, it's being sensible.

Hugs and hot choccies hun.

We sent Little Lad to managed grass livery to help ease the load this end. It's working well, though we do miss the little blighter. We know he's safe and well and being looked after, and when things are on a more even keal here then he will come home :).

You do what you need to do.
