I think that is the one my Mummy wanted, it looks just like her best dog Roo. Who is an absolute angel and would convert anyone into owner a Spangle (and has infact converted several Lab owners!)

The Golden boy sounds just my kind of dog! You should call him Beck.... as in Beckham/Golden Balls....

Evie says can she have a black one to play with, can be her own little Diesel.
LOL at the golden boy, you're not exactly giving him good PR if you're trying to home him . In my dim and distant youth there was a belief that golden cockers could be affected by "cocker rage", which seemed to be a euphemism for unpredictable temperament. Do any of you spangle experts know anything about this?

Ah now, best friend her hers destroyed after being diagnosed with "rage syndrome".
Vet said it was NOT a behavioural thing with her dog (who was a neutered male), but a clinical thing. And it was bl**dy scarey to watch!
Not just golden cockers can get it, but any solid coloured, and more likey to afect a male dog, but it is apparently very rare nowadays.

And I don't think ao much in the workers.
Springers are supposed to suffer with it too.

Rage episodes are like black-outs, rather than the dog making an effort to be nasty. Almost like they are having a fit, nothing to do with temprement, more like the wiring has shorted out.

I was always told it was ok to buy a black/golden cocker from different coloured parents, but not to buy a solid coloured from two solid parents.

Jasper was ok as his mummy was black/tan, daddy black. I always said I'd be more likely to pick a black that pops up in any pairing, as it commonly does, than buy from one specifically bred black in future.

Jasper's breeder was trying to breed black/tan's.

Harvey's from a blue roan mummy and an orange/white daddy.....no chance of inter-related I would hope and certainly no solid colouring in his breeding.
