Herbie is now in his 4th week of being in as his field is wet. After 2 failed attempts to turn him out in another place I have resigned to just continuing with the handgrazing. This morning I handgrazed him for 20mins and then tied him up on the yard while I did his stable. I went down to the house to fill his water buckets and heard a cufuffle. I finished filling the buckets and walked back to where Herbs was tied up and there was his headcoller still hanging but no Herbs. I wondered where he had gone so quickly as I couldn't see a sign of him. I thought I'd put his buckets in the stable then go look for him.
But I didn't need to look far as he had put himself back in the stable. He's such a special boy ;)

A pic of the handsom man, (How can anyone be cross at that face) :D

Sort of thing mine would do, sometimes I just let her graze around the yard and in summer she had to be in as had hurt her eye, but gradually was allowed out so left her waking around yard whilst I was in house, as yard next to it, looked out could not see her, panicked and she had out herself back into her stable lol.

He has such a cute wee face no wonder u can't get mad at him haha. Although I'd say it's a good skill saves you leading him back once you've finished mucking out :D

Thanks guys. There is never a dull moment with Herbie around. :D

benson21 he's going to have a shock if his field drys out and he goes back out 24/7 (unless he jumps more gates that is lol )

JumpinBeckeyJane It is a heart stopping moment when you can't see them. Luckly I know he can't get off the property and even if he did he's just be out on the forest.

Envey11 Yep he has that butter wouldn't melt look perfected. Luckly I know the truth.
