ooooooops.
Last night i was a little short of temper having had a tough day. i was trying to get hovis out fo the field and two of his friends were being utter pains. Fly bucking, running around, trying to get hovis back down the field with them. i had tried gentle shooing, then more forceful use of the lead ropes but they were still being pains.
So thinking no one was aorund i unleased a verbal tirade at them including telling them too P**S OFF or I was turning them both into hamburgers or actually since they were evil little B****RS it was more likely to be Prit stick. They were big evil B****Y bullies who obviously thought bad manners were attractive in a horse and I wouldn't give either of them stable room. I didn't use the F word aqnd i didn't touch either of them just vented my spleen. It seemed to work they dropped their heads and minced off obviously muttering about what an evil cow bag i was. Thus soothed i went about my business.
However my Instructor has just text saying she has just overheard one of her kids (who comes for a lesson) telling her pony that if it didn't behave she was turning it into a hamburger and did it think bad manners were attractive in a horse?
Insturctor found this hilarious.... I daren't tell her were she obviously heard it from..............!!

hahaha!! That's funny!

I usually threaten mine about being made into pasties if they are misbehaving! Usually seems to work!

I am often heard threatening 'to shoot the f***ing lot of you' when attempting to catch a certain mare.

I hasten to add it is a very, very empty threat - and I think the little s**ts know that!!!!

I do have to tell one of the gelding to p*** off on a regular basis - he's insisting on having a fuss while you attempt to do the gate up (it has been houdini-horse-proofed and is a bit tricky now!!!).
