The other trainer in xc was lovely I did the course walk with her
 
Not very, i was questioning whether they would delay the start of the show jumping due to the frozen ground, she walked me over to the show jumping and toldme to ask them, not that helpful considering i was 2nd to go and there was no one at the show jumping at that point and i only had 20 mins till i was due in.
When i saw her just before my ride i told her i was not happy with the ground, it was frozen, slippy, and i had no studs. She just told me to use the arena! Helpful :)

I actually think that's quite good advice. It's not her fault you didn't come prepared with studs!

They are two completely different issues.

If she has an issue with the level of people riding, then she should be voicing her opinion in a useful manner to BE officials, so they can sort out the level of people competing so novices aren't competing above their level. That would be a constructive, adult thing to do that would benefit everyone.

To stand bitching at the side of a ring at a training event is useless, unproductive and extremely unprofessional.
 
And considering i had had reports of almost perfect going i didn't see the point in waisting money having studs put in, i did not anticipate the ground being frozen so excuse me for being 'unprepared' and asking for advice.
 
My experience of life is that those that can ..do... those that cant just stand there bitching in the sidelines.My hope and salvation for the future of BE is that people at the top still have time for those below them (I am thinking of someone in particular but am loathe to name names.) .If some low level trainer wants to score points off novices then F+++ her and the horse she rode into town on.
