My partner went to see a few friends this weekend. Its a 2 hour drive or a 4 hour train journey. He left me the car and took the train down. One of his friends who also went for the weekend lives about 30 mins away from us has the option of taking 2 different routes, one of them goes right though our town. The bitch has just f*cked off saying she doesn't fancy taking our route and has left my partner to travel back on his own for 4 hours.

I AM LIVID!!

No he hadn't arranged it but any nice person would do that for mate. Why are people like that? I am really vexed - he's asked me not to go into one about it with her. I hope her car breaks down.....in fact lets have some vibes!!! I just feel sorry for him - he's just so lovely; a good egg.

I don't think you can call her a friend - what has she done to earn the description of friend in the first place? Remember, you can count your friends on the fingers of one hand. I have one true friend who I can depend upon totally and we only became friends about 4 years ago, in the school playground. She proved what a loyal friend she was when I broke my collar bone earlier this year and she dropped everything to ensure I was okay every single day, without her I don't know what I would have done. Mind you, she has just had an accident herself and I am there for her too so it has to work both ways.

hmmm ,nice person. If she was a real friend, se would not have even have had to ask if he wanted a lift and just took him home.

'Friends ' like that you can do without

Gosh thats rude! At least I guess he would have already paid for his ticket though. I think some people are just anti-social and lack any social graces. I suggested recently lift sharing to a race to a couple of people and they looked at me like I had a hole in my head, I hope for their sake's they are never stuck!
