so -
I was on a hack out alone with my batty 5year old ... up rush a big black car and a ladies head poked out and she started screaming '' YOU ARE ********** to FAT TO RIDE THAT OLD ********** NAG YOU ARE GOING TO ********* KILL IT YOU FAT B**** :mad::mad:

now my batty 5year old responded nicely by rearing up and nearly bashing her car before bolting of into the distance - I nearly fell of and couldn't stop him !!!also considering I am 13 that was unaccecptable!!

am I really that big ??
I am really upset and that was really dangerous ...
and now I am feeling really bad about riding him :(:(
I am 5ft9 and 60kg

I don't know about weights other than in stones but what that lady did was absolutely disgraceful and you have every right to be angry. I sincerely hope you got a good description and you are able to report her to the police.
 
your taller and weigh less than me!!!! do not worry..... i squish a 15.3 tb for fun

bet she was jealous ;)....... the rest of her was hiding behind the door..... all 20 stone of her ;)

No you wouldn't be to heavy, I would have also tried to remember number plate ( easier said than done when dealing with a rearing horse) .

If that's the case you are absolutely fine! I am 5ft 10 and i'm 9.5 stone!! Definitely not big and not heavy! :)
And you're only 13? Hell fire, sorry you've had such a crappy experience, OP, I would seriously be contacting the police!!
 
With that height and weight you are definitely ....NOT fat. Quite the opposite I would think. I'm so sorry you had to experience this and glad that you didn't get injured.

It's just under - about 9 stone 4 as that's what I weigh, I'm also 5'4" so must be really fat! (OP I'm a size 8 ;))

Im 10 stone at 5'6 so heaven forbid i must be on the morbidly obese/beached whale scale ;)

Op you meet complete tools everywhere and this woman must have had deep issue somewhere that need addressing, hope you and horse are both okay and have not been put off hacking :(
 
Disgusting behaviour from this woman... Report her! Cheeky cow.. Grr things like this makes me so bloomin angry, what right has anyone got to make other feel bad about themselves.

I don't think I have enough to go to the police all I remember is that it was a black car and she had red hair and one hell of a voice was kind of focusing on not falling of
 
Stupid cow, I am not a violent person, but would have wanted to whack her with my whip!!! Not only did she insult you, but endangered you and your horse too!!

You're not fat, you're almost the exact same height and weight as me and I'm not fat!

Keep an eye out for the car and call 101 every time you see it and report her for antisocial driving every time. If you do that then at the very least she should get stopped a few times by the police, which will cause her a bit of agro.

You may not think it's enough but putting a statement in is always worth it and the police will store that information. If you see her again, you can go back to them and report her again. You never know, she may have previous convictions :)
Don't feel you should suffer from this experience, she was completely in the wrong!

Sounds like she has a screw loose, I wouldn't take it to heart you are obviously not too big at all and she was just picking an insult out of the air, again sounds nutso!

Don't let this put you off, Gwniver, this woman is obviously a fruit loop :rolleyes:
What I suggest, is to take your pony out hacking on the road again, both for you and your pony's confidence and see how it goes. Take someone with you just incase or if you feel unsettled and want leading :)
 
Even a Shetland could handle a brief pootle down road with 9 stone which is all she saw you doing. Crazy cow out of order and you are not too heavy imo
 
I'm obviously morbidly obese at 5ft7 and 13 ish stone and a size 14. I'm on the way down though. I have a 16.2hh chunky TB
 
Worth just mentioning to the local cops as she may be someone that has done this before. Sounds like she shouldnt be driving if she has time to shout expletives out of her car and be so abusive. She may have been drinking etc.
Dont take her comments to heart she sounds a loon anyway.
Sorry she caused your horse to tank off, sounds like your horse picked up on the loony in the car perhaps before you got a fright.

If she is local and you know the type of care the police can look it up. Even if you can give them few digits. Red hair could be her downfall?
 
Oh you poor thing, and poor horse. This horrid woman should be ashamed of herself, disgraceful behaviour. As long as you and your horse are both okay, see if you can have a safe hack with an older horse asap and try not to let this affect your confidence.

She obviously isn't all there OP and her behaviour says a lot more about her than you, take no notice. She is obviously a very sad lady x
 
What a mentalist, beyond rude! Hope you and the horse are not too disturbed by this incident. I know it is hard to think about getting a reg when you fear slightly for your life!
 
I would have thought this would come between road rage and dangerous driving, there are a lot of idiotic drivers who think they have more rights than horses, pedestrians and cyclists wheras cars actually have less right to use the highways. I hope the daft cow was stuck behind you for miles....and yes you should report her as you could have lost your horse who could have caused an accident to anyone else coming along.
