Cant wait. Going to pick it up on Sunday, and only paying £40 for a large one. Only been used a short while but it doesnt fit in the ladies new stable.

Baron will be so pleased he doesnt have to have his haylage in nets anymore

I just hope he doesnt take to draging it all over the place, I dont think he will as he wont eat his hay off the floor.

I love mine and my horse is so tidy with it. I thought there would be hay all mixed in with shavings but he is dead neat & it's so easy to fill.

Don't be disheartened if your horse delights in emptying it at first! My horse did this for the first couple of weeks or so and then got bored of that game and eats it really nicely now.

One tip though is to put a rubber feed skip in the bottom. Much easier to grab that and empty the hay seeds then sweeping them up from under the haybar!

both mine have got them and they seem to be cleaner with them didnt like having to pay £60 for the pony one for the shettie but think it was wort it

How high off the floor do you actually position them?

Now Im really fed up because my horse empties his hay all over the floor and in his water bucked. Can someone pm him haybar insrutions to use it properly.lol

Mine is about 4 inches off the floor so I can easily get my hand under but not a broom, thats why I find it easier to put one of the black rubber feed skips in the bottom as it mould the the triangle shape. Plus the handles make it easier to grab the skip to empty it. I feed soaked hay and the skip catches the last of the drained water as well, another bonus as it keep the floor dry!

The only other thing I did was add an extra couple of screws down either side to hold it to the wall, instead of the 2 either side that they recommend.
