I am getting seriously itchy feet now, was going to wait until I had sold Spooks before I bought something else, but now the 2 youngsters are turned out 24/7 and Spooks has gone to stay at work for a few weeks to have kids ride him, I am down to just one horse on the yard

So seriously tempted to start looking for something else now. Would be a bring on and sell project, hopefully fairly quick turn around. Still empted to look for another TB, but quite tempted to get something to produce as a RC dressage type horse, as seems to be quite popular at the moment.

What do you think? Anyone know of anything that might suit? Or any other suggestions as to what is selling well at the moment (other than ponies as fed up with schooling things under 12hh

Safe cobs sell every day of the week. As you've found out, people in Suffolk do love their dressage (up until you start going sideways

) so an RC dressage type that is pretty and suitable for a middle-aged woman will also sell well.

Lol I know that feeling only too well!!
Mmm, difficult one as I think that the market is seriously flooded at the moment, I dont think things are selling well-, as there are just too many horses around!
I think a safe RC allrounder may be a good bet- but would have to be something that can jump nicely as well as do a good dressage test.
You could also try the TB route again!
Or you could ring around a few TB studs and see if they have any TB mares going free? My friend got a free 5 year old mare from the stud, nothing wrong with it, and gorgeous looking!

We have lots of very different types in for sale at the moment. But have lots of people interested in the smaller dressage types.

Madhector, what happened to the nice little TB mare you got?

I know how you feel, I've just bought a 2yo and I'd quite like to have something to school over the summer! Might just try and steal rides on my friends horses.

Are you going to help me look this time?

I want one of our great debating MSN conversations, where we critique every horse add in H&H.

We could shred any horse to pieces.

Anything you need me for, you know I would be there in a flash!

Have you though about going to the sales?

Phone Hubbards (Saxtead) they might have something that didn't make it racing.

Coloured cobs/section D's are selling well round here atm and the ones I've seen have plenty of spark!! The two people I know with SectionD's compete in dressage and showjumping in RC
