Tired. Slightly woozy. Ready for bed lol

This back brace is going to drive me mad :rolleyes:

So, no driving for six weeks and then it will only be local; back for an x-ray in two weeks; no riding for three months; can go see the Hairy Gang, can even groom so long as I don't bend down or stretch up (going to have a clean streak all the way round lol); no lifting or carrying anything.

Could be worse :)

Tired now. Will go snooze :)

Thank you for all messages, etc., very nice indeedy :)

Glad you're home. So you're doing your own impression of a Star Wars storm trooper then ?? My poor hubby had to wear one of those things when he broke his back in 3 places on his 4th riding lesson at a BHS accredited RS on a schoolmaster.... he didn't bend at the knees when he did a scheduled dismount (he landed on his feet) and ended up with 3 wedge fractures to his spine... The time will soon fly, just take the doctors advice and I hope you mend very soon.

Big Hugs to you X

Bless you. Between you and Dizzy one of you is always out of action.
Behave yourself and follow doctors orders (says she walking about on a buggered ankle that is 4 times the size of the other one!!)
Gentle hugs coming your way

Oh gosh, poor you!!!!

Hot choccy, and gentle hugs, hope you feel better soon

Really glad to hear your home, take good care of yourself and get yourself better for us now ok? :)

ETS how long do you have to wear the brace for?

Thankies thankies thankies all :D

I broke my back on Saturday. A silly fall (I'll post the link if I can find it).

Good to be home. D must be wondering though, I've been so quiet lol. I'm soooo tired , and trying to get used to wearing the back brace... I'm propped up in a corner, surrounded by cushions lol

Glad to hear you're back home amongst all the loved and hairy ones. We'll help the time fly by and keep you entertained on here!

Back brace  gosh I didn't know it was that bad, sorry my replies were quick replies so I didn't get to know the full extent of your injuries....feel bad now :(

Hope your feeling better very soon and everything heals as it should (((hugs)))

OH wore his for a month after his back rebuild (rods inserted to stabilise a displaced fracture of L2, broke wing off L1 and also damaged 3 discs) if it chafes- send me a PM as i am a dab hand at making sheepskin covers for them

Welcome back to the Walking Wounded, though, as opposed to the Lying-Down Wounded! I hope it heals sooner and better than expected! :)

Oh dear, I didn't realise you had broken your back!!! Please do take care of yourself and let your daughters run around after the horses - you do far too much!!

Glad your home! I'm actually considering this broken back malarky, perhaps I need a word with young lad tomorrow...sounds rather...well....relaxing! :p :D
No seriously hun, I hope you are back on your feet soon. The 3 months will fly by, you will soon be back on the dizzy blonde, think of that on your down days.
