About three weeks I asked a local saddler if they could get me a Charles Owen cross-country hat (a gold one lol). Just realised today that not heard from them

So, no stress, I went to Eland Lodge to get one... they had each size either side of mine! Eek!

So, I can get back on Dizzy on Monday, and I don't have a hat to wear

. None of my friend's have the same shape heads as me, and Daughter's hat is too small

For flip's sake, one would have thought I'd have got the basics sorted!

Lunged the Dizzy one today and she was so very good. Looks like I'll be lunging and long-reining for a little bit longer...

The nice lady at Eland has ordered one for me

Nice lady checked the fit of Daughter's hat on m'head - but she won't let me wear it

. Said it wasn't worth it, not even for a couple of minutes.

I am seriously considering starting a home for planks

MrsM it is very apparent to me that the man upstairs who ensured you were not seriously hurt does not actually intend you to get on board on Monday and rather than hurt your feelings he has taken the decision to hold back on the hat.

He does that sometimes but most people dont notice.
