Hello,

I hve been lurking for months and here I am! I really enjoy reading all the threads and laughing at the different characters.

Need token of advice - I hve done a search but its to vague. Where would you advertise a HW Rambo? It is only a year old - How much should I expect for it? I dont do Ebay as they take a cut and I am rubbish at it.

Suggestions please.

Advertise at your yard/local stables/facebook-online horse riders group in each area/friends? (QUOTE)

But you could also put it on the wesite called Preloved, they dont take a cut, think its just £5 to join so you can put on things for sale, but they dont take a cut on anything you sell as you and the potential "purchaser" sort out payment etc. :)

It doesn't cost anything to join preloved if you are just a private seller. If you were a business seller then you have to become a full member :D

Hello.

Adverts at local livery yards work very well - the bigger the better. Or ads in PC/RC newsletters. I'd expect about half what a new one costs..

Just took me an age to work out how to reply!

Thanks everyone, it is in a popular size and I am not asking much for it, considering its value so fingers crossed. Is there still a swapper shop anywhere as I need 6ft6 stable rug and a couple of other bits for an exchange.

Welcome to the mad house :D
As for advertising it, put up adverts in tack shops, if any local riding clubs etc have facebook pages or message boards where you can sell stuff put it on there too. If not just word of mouth and just tell horsey people you have a rug for sale and they will hopefully pass on the message if someone is looking. Also there are a few equine 'swap shops' on facebook and there are a few 'seek and sell' pages for my area too so if you have facebook, have a look on there :)
