I have just picked up my times for the Addington Premier League show at the weekend.

Not only is my first time 9.15, (so I will have to leave the yard, having mucked out 10 horses and plaited up, by 5.15!!

I love to compete against the best ,then if you do well you are on a real high and enjoy it.If you don't do so well you have an excuse

Sorry about the early start,[ we couldn't do it with daughter's baby] but enjoy it.I once beat Jennie Loriston Clark in a medium test which was the warm up to the evening med music final[ she beat me in that] I still go on about it and it was 20 years ago.
You might be the same when you are old like me!!!!!!!!!

Nice company to be competing with.....eeek!! Look at it this way tho at least when you beat them you know it will be in the best of company and it will therefore mean even more.

Seriously though, you are riding a lovely horse who, I am sure, has as much potential as theirs.
You may not be as experienced as the riders you mention but you are having training from one of the very top trainers and you are on your way up.........so it's the others that will have to watch their backs!

Have to agree slightly on what Bananaman said in that one of the reasons i cant wait to start competing in the Premier League shows is to ride against top names.
