Today while walking the pooch a man and his son allowed their dog to poo on the lovingly prepared wicket at the local cricket ground. They were not going to pick it up until I challenged them and gave them one of my poo bags. Previously I would have been too nervous to say anything, so rather proud of myself. I think the fact I am an old bat now gives me an attitude I never possessed before.
Dogs have already been banned from some parks in the area and also beaches because people wont clear up after their animals.
I shall continue my crusade !

good for you!!
i challenged somebody once to pick up his dogs poo and he replied'' p*** off so as i had seen his car i waited until he was out of sight, got my little doggie poo bag and wiped a load of it on his car door handle , i know, i know, bad me but he deserved it!

Shady...that gave me a right good giggle :)

Penny Less...well done. I am becoming more like my mum in this regard every day. :)

I find most people can be embarrassed into picking it up if I stride across the field saying 'Hi would you like to have one of my poo bags to pick up after your dog as you seem to have missed one and I thought maybe you had run out of bags'

Yep...that's my usual initial approach! ;)
