I am officially an old nag :)

I remember when I first started posting, I thought "how on earth do people manage to get posts into the thousands...don't they have any sort of life outside HHO?" I can report that, IME, it means you absolutely don't! Once you're sucked in...that's it!

Not sure what I am either, but this all reminds me of my facebook status, which states "works at: Retired". Not true - I don't work at it at all; it comes perfectly naturally!!

I used to think that to LOL (Havn't checked what statas I am in a while have been abit slacking on here to date :o )

Congratulations PolarExpress :D

Congrats!

Judging by my posting rate so far I have at least another 6 years to go before I'm an Old Nag. I wonder if HHO Forum will be still going then?

An old nag for me too, out of curiosity, whAt does come next? are we to be old nags forever, or do we go over the rainbow bridge and post from there?

Funny OP, I also noticed it when I became an old nag, and was a bit sad, but fortunately you can get to veteran quite quickly. Downside being no-one will insure you but you can claim the wisdom of your years (hah).

Or have I got that the wrong way round and veteran comes before old nag?! See, the brain is going already...

I am officially useless. 8 1/2 years and still only a schoolmaster. :( I really must not have anything interesting to say at all.
Ah, the point is that you probably only post when you have an interesting comment to make that will make a useful contribution to a thread! Some of us rabbit on inconsequentially whether we have anything interesting to say or not....... :o

Pointless post really - but I just noticed . . . feel oddly privileged ;).

P

Congratulation! :D

Just out of interest at what point do you change into an old nag? I ask, because I've noticed I'm a sport horse, (I think) which is a bit disconcerting for a highland owner!!

Don't worry, you have less than 100 posts/replies left to becoming a Schoolmaster. :)

Foal 0+ posts
Yearling 20+ posts
Youngster 50+ posts
Just backed 100+ posts
Sport horse 200+ posts
Schoolmaster 500+ posts
Veteran 1000+ posts
Old nag 5000 + posts

Me too! I don't know whether to be upset or not? Lol perhaps it means that I'm now at that dtage where I get to eat as much as possible (to keep weight on), do what I want as I'm the retired oldie and get away with murder as it means I've still got my spark and they don't have to shoot me just yet (although with the amount of danilon I'm on they may be fed up of my long term vets bills!)!
