I am so penny pinching that.......

Not only am I wearing my OH old work trousers for knockabouts - Gardening, Painting etc but yesterday when the vet had to treat horsey boy I collected up all her rubbsih to save it messing up her car and very carefully put the surgical gloves in my pocket as they will come in useful and there wasnt even any blood on them!!

I work in a children's home and my colleague brings his laundry to work, uses their washer and drier. He also uses his nectar card for the fuel for both of the unit cars. So you might be penny pinching, but you're not that bad! What he does makes me feel uncomfortable; what you have done is sensible! Waste not, want not is my motto!

That's effectively stealing from the children's home! I'm assuming he wouldn't take a fiver from petty cash so he shouldn't take his washing there either.

Ahh a woman after my own heart. My Dads favorite saying is look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves, have been doing this for years now and the pounds dont seem to be coming my way yet
