I jumped 2'9''!!!!!!!!! I know its pretty tiny to some of you, and at a point it would have been for me too, I was jumping 3'9'' courses two years ago, and then I just lost all my confidence completely, I couldn't even jump 2'3''. But I've slowly started jumping again recently and tonight I jumped 2'9''!!!!!!!! I am SO PROUD of me and my horse, as he has come a long way too. He no longer bucks, and he was so good to me tonight, when I messed up my striding and just completely chucked him in the deep end, he would just chip in a little stride and jump! I've been beaming ever since

. Now I'm going to start doing some jumps with rugs over the poles and barrels underneath, and then I hope to do a few competitions in preparation for my sister to event him next year. Woohoo its all clicking into place!!!

Well done. It can be really hard coming back after a loss of confidence ( I know from experience!) . You are obviously a good rider and you will get it back. It just takes time and lots of little steps. Well done you!

2'9" is not small to me either! Regaining your confidence is so difficult, I'm trying to do it too at the moment. I jumped around 2'6" for the first time in years, a few weeks ago and was so chuffed with myself. Well done you!
