I am sooooooooo happy (sorry self indulgent)

For any of you out there, who has heard me talk about Motor my old boy

…. for anyone else SORRY!

I was in Sheer Heaven today …. I managed to ride him out on my own for the 1st time in years …. something that I have been loooooooooooooonging to do ….. as for years and years it was always, just me and Motor and nature ……

However, annoyingly, my TB throws all his toys out of the pram, big time, if I leave him behind…. but sadly I have no rider for him atm

. Soooooooooooo decided enough was enough and asked if I could ‘borrow’ a stable, so he was not alone, in the yard next door …. a bit cheeky, but needs must

I did wonder whether Motor would have lost his confidence and boldness, when out alone again, but the shining star he is, he marched on with a smile on his face, ears forward and onwards and upwards

…. even when being presented with a mahooooosive Horse box, as soon as we reached the lane

I am so proud …….

Oh no we were walking, but he does get on with it and not hang around even now

Aw bless his wee cotton socks. The action vid looks like he was well up for it walking along there ears forward. It's so nice being able to get out on your own when you want. I've only managed twice in two years to get mine out on his own but once he goes we have a great time.

Lots of people round the CH area then! (I obviously am not anymore but know the riding!) Used to ride down the Down path from near Cowfold to Ch and back - quite a long ride but enjoyed just the pony and I time!

Motor is looking so good for his age. One day can I get a side on photo, as the only one i have seen is the one in your sig and I am blind!

Oh Brighteyes ... I was such a stresshead getting everything planned to do the deed and go it alone ..... I was soooooooooooo snappy, I thought that I would ruin the ride and Motor would pick up on it, but he was my lovely trusty boy and I am soooooooooo proud of him

TB screamed the yard down and was angry, but he did not sweat up and chuck himself about .... he had loads of horses in with him and some coming and going .... I will ask if I can do it again ... will have to see if he upset YO or not, as she was having lunch when I returned

Forgot to say, Motor was calling for his mate .... which he was only ever known to do, when he was 2 hours away from home in his youth
