My vet had advised two weeks box rest after a mild case of lami (although his box rest was actually a bare patch in the field with his little mate as he refused to stay in!). Anyway those two weeks were up yesterday and for the last few days I had been moving the fence a little to have a bit of grass, I had decided to let him out at night in a small paddock with the three Shetlands starting this eve. I got to the yard this evening and he had already put himself out in the paddock but left his poor friend behind!
I guess he knew the two weeks were up and he must be out again! He is not going to be impressed when he finds himself back on his bare patch in the morning with his soaked hay.
I was gutted as I was really looking forward to seeing his reaction when he got let out
