So, school trials tomorrow morning..
went for a canter up the drive verge today in deep mud... and now i've left all my tack cleaning stuff at the stables

It's all absolutely plastered in mud- filthy, especially my bridle and martingale- i've tried cleaning just with water, but it's not really working! still looks grimy with some mud really deeply ingrained..
Any suggestions?!? don't think i can clean tack tomorrow morning as tack room will be locked that early in the morn

I have no idea, lol - it was just the only thing I thought of! If you have the clear boot polish then that would be ideal. Otherwise you will just have to make sure you have polished it all off!

Try those green scrubby pads that you use for the dishes...gets mud off really well though wouldn't use for expensive leather mind you...

Use a few drops of detergent in warm water to clean the tack. Let it dry and then use vegetable oil on a soft cloth. It works a treat.
