I am thinking of giving up horses...

we can all mutter about people who choose to do macramé instead (natural knitting types)

and the danger of not wearing a thimble, reckless buggers

no, but you need to stitch bits together with a bit darney needle , like arms into arm holes, you dont just knit them in a whole, see im a natural knitter me

wool is really pricey - except to the sheep farmers who get b*awl for their fleeces

farmers get bugger all for anyhting they sell, no surprize there

I share your frustrations, Knitting is even more anoying than trying to perfect a dressage test trust me

I tried it. Try not to worry too much and look on the bright side it does exist. I took up cross stitch in the end! (a lot easier and passed the time between vet calls and visits)

All for selling mine...

1 x 17hh WBxTB 6 years old chestnut mare
Well bred mare with lots of potential that will never be reached as she is now broken
blush.gif

1 x 16.2hh TBxID 11 years dark bay mare
Unknown breeding, but produced a lovely foal by Pro-Set. However, has not been ridden for 12 months, has a pregnant belly and needs a lot of walking before she even thinks about going back in the school (did a very nice elementary test about a year and a half ago!)

1 x WB x ISH 6 months old dark brown colt
You have 2 1/2 years before you can even think about backing this one. But he is very sweet, well handled and currently being weaned.

At least people will pay for yours

Here goes...
16.2hh Irish TB gelding, 12 yo, not sound at all and has issues
crazy.gif
The vet always said he should be put in a padded stable, bubble wrapped and just pat him on the head occasionally

16.3hh dippy saddlebred x, 6yo, who has trouble putting one foot in front the other let alone doing a dressage test

omg - if I listed what was wrong with most of mine I'd need an A4 page each - still love 'em though and they keep plodding on somehow - it's the dent in my wallet that hurts more ;-))

Hmmmmm, think I will give the knitting a miss - almost as dangerous as horses!! What with needles (puncture hazard - just imagine the damage you could do if OH upset you when at a crucial bit of cable!!!!) and Wool (choke hazard again when said OH makes a rude remark about your handy work so far....)
Nope I'm gonna change to goldfish - all you need is one bowl - and look at how small their bags of feed are, no smelling of horse wee and poo, no straw/hay to be picked out of hair on way to work and just think how tidy my car will be!!!!
Anyone want a fat Grey IDxMare - all she wants in life is food and a cuddle!!

clearly youre not thinking this through, all as it would take is one trip or fall and you could be headfirst in your goldfish bowl - drowning hazard...
