I appear to have gained a hairy stinky baby...

My sister has been on holiday in Tenerife all week, so her JRT Poppy has been stuck with me. Nicole got Poppy for her 8th birthday, and has always treated her like a baby (to the extent of dressing her in cardigans and pushing her around in a pram... Poppy loved it!) and spends hours sat on the floor (the dogs aren't allowed on the furniture) cuddling her. Poppy is obviously horrified that her main source of cuddles has disappeared - she's been increasingly whiney and annoying over the last few days, so tonight I have given up and sat down on the floor for a cuddle. She was on my lap before my bum had even hit the floor and is nolw snuggled against my chest, snoring happily, and has not moved for half an hour. She may be daft and irritating, but you can't say she's not adorable. I can't bring myself to move and disturb her!

Oh, that's Poppy's idea of being really generous! Most of the time she will kick Leah right off the bed and then fold it up into a tiny little square so she can have it all to herself, while Leah lies a short distance away and stares at me mournfully until I remove Poppy.

It's actually really annoying - even when Poppy had her own bed, she would steal Leah's and watching Leah try to curl herself up small enough to fit on a Poppy-sized bed was hilarious but slightly pathetic.

Leah is such a pushover with Poppy, it's not even funny - we really try to encourage her to be the alpha of the two, because Poppy needs to be kept in line!
