Took P out for the first time today - just had her in a loose ring french link and a drop - she was awesome, in fact I didn't need reins as she was such a machine :-D She was a totally different horse, had tons of self carriage, was perky and interested and OMG she JOGGED - she never does that!

Meet itself was as dull as ditchwater, but never mind, next fixture will be a goodie!

Yes, you have a rockwood horse, all you need is a weekend with Sarah and I now, bet you have more control than us two!

Oh I deffo have more control - perfect control even! Let me go do a jumping meet before we brand her a Rockwood horse LOL - though we did jump a ditch today *Oh the excitement*

Aww brilliant! You've found her forte!

How often are you going to go out?

Deffo have - so many people came up to compliment me on her and one woman could not believe it was the same horse that she saw jumping at the RC in the summer, so was rather chuffed!

Got to sit down and work out where meets are - we are on the border of 2 packs with another 2 in easy distance, so I may do variation, but need to sit down with all of the hunt cards and work out a plan - no more than once a fortnight I wouldn't think tho :(

Ah, bless, see thats one thing we lack up north, ditches, can't say I'm too sad with that though! Glad you have found her happiness, there shall be no more schooling now, hunting girls don't school horses, its a big NO NO :smirk:

I am not jealous in the least!! - glad you had a good day, although it does sound as if you took Donkey out, shame you are not closer as it would be lovely to hunt together. Any photos?

Aww, well thats a real compliment! Yes you should just have some fun over the winter, it flies when you hunt anyway, for some reason. I'm not surprised it'll be no more than that at 'English' prices

Rosiie I HATE ditches, so glad there was only 1 - happily jump huge hedges, hate ditches - go figure that!

SSM - it would be so lovely to go out with our matching girlies :D She was exactly how you described Donkey last season! Will pop a couple of pics in the PG, but sadly am lacking anything decent :(

Does sound like you have found her 'thing' :D

And never come and hunt round here, all we have are ditches...big ones :p

and just one hedge which is about 3ft, gotta love Suffolk :D
