at the strangest thing you have seen at your yard!!!!

Well as you know im not too happy at the yard im currently at. YO has changed and things are going missing. Today i went up and my numnah was lying on the ground ripped up!! Also my lunge whip was lying in the arena in 3 bits!!! Totally cracked and lifted the one that belonged to YOs gf, as i know it was her wrecked mine.

The only other livery hasnt been up in days, my lunge whip was in my tack room last night when i left, she was just about to take her horse out to lunge and asked to lend my whip and i said ok if she left it back. This morning i was up early and there it was lying - cow!

Anyway thats not the strangest. Came up the lane to the yard and sitting outside the YOs house was 5 police cars!!!
 
Shes a right bitch. A while ago Mo's rug got damp cause the stables are leaking (another reason im moving) she offered to lend me an old rug she had for her last horse, as it doesnt fit current one. She then handed me a bill, on it was £10 for loan of rug and £20 for getting it cleaned, she was told where to go. Sorry but if i knew she would charge then i wouldnt have lent it!! Only had it a few days. TBH i wanted it off Mo asap as it was stinking but at least dry.

Are you calling me a Panda?! OOh that's just the start of it. Snapped brooms, shavings forks, malicious feeding of horses, buckets of water thrown over doors into stables, hay and feed stolen. I could go on and on. Wouldn't it be great if she's reading this!! she was a freak!

By the sound of things i would really move your pony from this yard as soon as you can,i would never stay somewhere like that,i work hard to pay for my livery and my time out is with my horses,sod putting up with that s*it.
 
Other yard ive spied is free from the start of next year. Ive ordered hay bales but farmer was lovely said i can keep it at his aslong as i pay for it all beforehand. So at least i wouldnt have a pile of hay to move!!! Its why im dealing with shaving bales instead of heading to a saw mill.

Apparently its a 2nd raid inside 2 months, but didnt see the first. Its really got my mind going, how safe are my horses then, why 2 raids inside a short time. OHs dad said he cant give us anymore info and shouldnt even have told us that.

At my last yard they were spraying our horses with the hose! Riding them when i wasnt about, unscrewing the bar on the door and lifted our feed, the guy was getting drunk and would go out and punch the horses.

I dont think i will ever find a yard thats normal!!!However if i did then i might find it boring now lol.

First yard was ok but found out the guy didnt have deeds for the place and had received word that the horses were going to be lifted, even though he didnt tell us!!!
 
Good grief! Where do these people come from. Do they go to freaky YO school?

You saying about the hose has reminded me, a friend left the last yard as she caught YO's daughter hosing her mare and foal over the stable door. Not right in the head. Another friend saw her riding out of the yard with her (friends) tack on the YO horse. And the lies...you wouldn't believe the lies she told.
 
Ohhh i think she stabled a horse at maddybenny!! Infact we ended up with a horse she had, she totally ruined him!! She goes through about 6-7 horses a year. Gets good jumpers in and then sells them as she wrecks them with side/draw reins and too strong a bit.
 
So far shes used one of my brand new rugs that was still in package! Food being used, numerous things going missing, things being used and left lying outside, or left back damaged
 
We have a freezer for feed and OH drilled a lock on it with rivet screws or something. Its now locked. Ive now locked up smaller things in storage boxes. Things like saddles etc cant be locked up. Ive had a brand new black leather bridle go missing, the bit was left lying on the floor!!

For some reason i mentioned i told her that i was changing mo from a loose ring snaffle happy mouth to a fixed ring happymouth snaffle. She said that i knew nothing about horses and i was putting him on a different stronger bit - im confused!!!
 
In all seriousness, at my yard, I can leave anything out and it doesn't get touched, plus all my bedding feed and hay goes into my horse. What a novelty!
 
See id love that. I have to lock things up, even my saddle has been used, its got horses hair on that doesnt belong to mine!! What annoys me is they are financially better off than me, and already have the things they 'lend'.

OH says that when things go missing or damaged, to lift something of theirs and sell it on ebay to replace my item lol
 
To be quite honest I wouldn't feel happy leaving my horse there for a day longer. Can you not move somewhere temporarily until you can get to your new yard in the New Year? I know it isn't that far away but this nutter could do anything to your horse between now and then. Sod the equipment, annoying and expensive as that may be, it is your horse who needs protecting from this psycho.
 
Ive been advertising for ages now for a yard or even a field, the soonest i can get is the new yard in the new year where there is definitely no other horses about, the yard would be all mine!!!

OHs father says to get them moved, ive been telling him ive been trying, ive gone to livery yards that my friends have been at and they are full, ive gone around farmers to get a field or even to rent a bloomin shed!

My horses are my everything, and this situation is tearing me apart. To my knowledge my horses havent been touched, its her lending things of mine and bloomin ruining my things. When i first arrived at the yard there was only one other horse there and then she arrives and then another livery!

With a baby on the way too, i want to get the horses sorted and happy. I wont be happy until they are happy!! My friend has room for 2 horses at her own private yard. So im sending Angel and Murphy there, the two semi retired ones.

Im waiting from a few farmers to get back to me about a field that will do me until the new year.
 
I know violence doesnt solve anything but i think i would have had to kick the s**t out of her the freak!

How on earth have you stayed at that yard and put up with this for as long as you have.

Its only started happening the last few months, when we first arrived it was perfect, they even got the stables ready for us etc.

Ive been trying to sell some in hope of finding a yard that bit easier, we had 10 and im down now to 7.
