My area has a Facebook group for animal sales. I keep an eye on it because I sometimes buy things for my fish through the group. About six weeks ago, someone was advertising a littler of Chorkie puppies for sale. They were super cute and all sold within a few days.

One of the puppies was back for sale through the group about two weeks later. And then again two weeks after that. He was listed for sale again today so I rang up and bought him for £50. I was sick to death of the poor little thing being passed from pillar to post.

He's with me to stay now. He'll be getting a full vet check tomorrow. I have a feeling he'll need de-worming. Apart from that, he seems quite shy but is getting bolder as he gets to know us. He likes to hide behind the sofa but comes out when he thinks no-one is looking. At the moment, he's sound asleep on the couch next to me.

I can't understand how people can just breed pups then not give them any support. Makes me sick to see people treating animals like toys. The woman I bought him from said 'they couldn't keep him because he was scratching the kids.' He's a puppy. They're playful. They need training.
 
What's a Chorkie? I am guessing Chihuahua x Yorkshire Terrier?
God, I can't wait til this phase of putting two names together tto make one ends. Will if ever end?? Annoys the hell out of me!!!

He is such a character! :D I nipped out to answer the door and when I got back, I couldn't see him anywhere. He'd climbed onto the bookshelf and was happily snoozing!

He's called Sailor!

Awww. That's a better story than when I nipped upstairs to get my laptop charger and left our puppies in the living room. I literally flew up and down the stairs and was back within 30 secs easily, only to come in the living room and find one of the pups having a jolly good time chewing the corner of my laptop :mad::mad::D

I love the name too! Unusual but cute.
 
-Touch wood- he's not chewing anything.

He's actually really good. He's still a bit shy and quiet (especially around new people. I'm sure he thought the vet was trying to murder him!) but he's really no trouble.
