I bought him!!!!!

Just when I thought nothing in life was EVER going to work out for me.... I have bought Joshua today!!!

I had a lesson on him today and was videoed riding him - took it over to show my mum & dad, who took pity on me and agreed to bail me out for the next 6 months so I could buy him. Plus the fabulous (sp?), wonderful people who are selling him have helped me more than I can believe, so it has all been made possible

He will hopefully be vetted on Tuesday morning, and then it is back to getting up at 6am to muck out before work

I'm just making a list of stuff to do tomorrow - can't believe it is only 4 months since I owned a horse, I seem to have loads to do ... farrier, vets, bank to arrange cash, insurance company etc etc etc!

And to those people who quite rightly told me NOT to buy him a week or so ago when I asked, please don't worry, the deal I have negotiated means I DO keep enough money in the bank to cover emergencies, vets bills, new rugs etc. Even my mum grudgingly agreed that she could see it would be OK

As you might have guessed, I'm just SO happy - fingers crossed that I'll see you at some BE events later on in the year - small ones of course!

LOL!! Aww I am pleased for you.....even though I was one of the people who reasoned with you.

I'm sure now you have him, you will do your utmost to take good care of him. I hope you have a wonderful time owning him and that while he is sound and healthy you stash any leftover money in a bank account somewhere just for emergencies
