Youngest daughter starts school today, she's almost 5 and gagging to get there, I have been looking forward to riding more and going to midweek shows, but the day has a arrived and I'm feeling a bit fragile :(

An hour with Zigs hacking through the forest should help though- need to get (us both) fit for all these qualifiers I have in mind!

i sat in my car & had a little weep when my daughter started full time school - mad really as i have always worked & she was in some form of childcare for several yrs before she went to school, but i think it was that feeling of them really being away from you - no more mid day pony playing sessions:(
enjoy your free time & its half term in 6 weeks;)

My daughter doesn't start till next Wednesday so still got to go through all that yet! Like you i thought yeah will have more time to ride, do horse etc but i will really miss her being around. But yes we do have the holidays to play horses in the day again and they come round so quickly.:)

Enjoy every minute with them - it doesn't get any easier. Mine are all grown up now - one is off travelling, one planning to go off travelling and littlest one off to uni this Autumn. Thank goodness I've got my three four footed babies (2 horses 1 dog) to dote on and keep me from the dreaded empty nest syndrome"!
