I am having a pony vetted on Friday!!! Absolute star of a mare, 15'2(ish), TB, 4yrs old. She has a fabulous temperament with Nijinsky on one side and Shirley Heights/ Mill Reef on the other. I am so, so excited. She moves really nicely and has a nice jump in her too - still green, but a fabulous trainable temprament and I may try to do some BYEH with her, but not sure whether I'm capable enough for that but will do some dressage and SJ in the future and possibly some Small Riding Horse!

What fab news - I have followed your progress and I am glad you have found such a nice horse. I love TBs so think you have made a fab choice! Hope you have a lot of fun and you both gain a lot of confidence.

Ta all. She is really lovely and I have just showed the video to my flatwork instructor and got her seal of approval too! Lots of work to do to get her more supple over her back, working through properly, but the basics are there and so is the temperament. Just looked on the Burghley website and had a look at the expectations for 4 year olds - a very simple dressage test and 90cm jumping so may try a 4 year old class later on in the summer, just for experience.

Oooo how exciting! I was wondering recently how your horse hunting was going! Good luck with her and I expect i'll see you out and about!

I may bring her to the next clinic on the 15th - I hear you have booked in again! OH will be riding P now and I may bring her just to give her an outing to a different place. I might have a short lesson with Bill, but we'll see!

Yup have booked again which reminds me that I need to send a cheque off some point soon. It'd be good to bring her to the clinic just so she can get used to the different surroundings but she sounds like she'll be very relaxed anyway!

Oh how exciting!

She sounds wonderful. So who will be your ride if we ever do get around to meeting up at Somerford?

Hello!!! I will probably take Pulsaar if it's in the next few months - don't want to be doing too much with a 4 yr old! When are we going to do it? Part of me wants to get together asap, but then I think it would be nice to pick a nice day in the summer!
