Spring cleans their house before going on holiday?

No idea why I do it, but im off on my jollies tomorrow so the house has been subjected to the top to toe scrub, hoover, polish, mop etc. Suppose its so its extra nice when we get back, but who knows!

Pointless post, but im killing time waiting for the kitchen floor to dry! Ha ha ha

I always do that too. There's nothing more depressing than coming back from holidays to a messy, dirty house.

I think part of it is my family look after the cats so I feel I have to show my mum I can keep a house clean and with all the clothes washing after a holiday, I really don't want to be cleaning the house as well.

Me too. Nothing worse than coming home to a grubby house. Lord knows it will get messy enough when the unpacking is done

I always do that. Even if we are going out for a long day, things are left clean and tidy, all washing up done, before we go, then we can just walk in when we get back, put the kettle on and collapse!!!
