Someone would be so stupid to put up pics of a coloured horse on the internet then openly admit on a forum that they got a new passport for it so it could be registered with zero winnings BSJA after it has competed successfully at 1.20mtr plus.
Doing it is bad enough but advertising the fact with pics is just plain stupid.

Ahh! the good old recycling brigade!

I have to hold my hands up, I was bought/given an old clocked off JA pony when I was 10, we didnt do affiliated but did a decent amount of very competitive RC jumping and eventing, everybody knew who my pony was but we never had any hard feeling because we didnt pull a shonky trick like that. I owe that pony an immense gratitude she taught me so much, but back then there was no members cup classes so I couldn't affiliate.

Yes. This is blatent cheating and pothunting as there are flipping loads of open classes which they could jump in - I could do one every time I went out if I had the inclination!

Of course I think you should caveat it with the fact that people spout all kinds of drivel on the internet and perhaps these people are talking the talk but have no intention of doing the deed.

Horse is already out being competed under new passport and registration. Really annoys the hell out of me when people do this. So unfair for those that do have genuine novice horses.

This really annoys me - i registered the other day and my boy has £50 on his card to start with !! he has never competed till yesterday and is a true baby and novice but could be out of BN quite quickly !! then you have people like this - they could go out and jump the open classes !!

She is a very silly cheating young lady, if I could remember my login I would tell her that to. It certainly jumps.

Ah, you know the forum I'm talking about. I think silly doesn't come close. A non-descript chestnut is one thing but such an obviously marked coloured? Stupid doesn't come close.

thats disgraceful behaviour she should be booted from bsja for at least the year, its fraud!?
bl**dy pot hunters, how sad they are!

what happened to the days when people took pride in working on their horse & competing up the levels to get a sense of achievement as opposed to entering competitions at a much lower level for the glort of winning , no glory in ill gotten gains imo , another vote for shop the cheaters & they deserve it for being so blatant about their cheating imo

TBH I wouldn't bother, it goes on all the time and the worst the BSJA will do is fine them £40 and make them re-register!

[/ QUOTE ]

That's shocking! At least BE suspended that girl who did a similar thing for quite some time (though I can't remember how long - head says a year but part of me wants to say 3 years). She didn't re-reg a horse, just had 5 competing under the same name!

grass her up - no doubt someone will see her / know her from here and should politley say something. its not on. i have a mare who has won £150 bsja and i DO NOT enter any novice compeitions unaff with her because of it which is a real pain in the bum as i havent been jumping for 15 years so consider myself a total novice and shes not actually that great either!
