I cant deal with blood and guts!!!

Quick history - TB had operation (GA) to remove infected tissue after a kick to his knee. Op went ok, although when in recovery room staples over middle of knee fell out and he still has a gap. Wound not progressing with full bandage so vet suggested pressage and vaseline with turnout as it was getting very swollen and making him lame when in. Its looking good and getting smaller slowly but surely!

Today it was leaking a bit of white stuff from surface (defo not infection) - is this normal? (Waiting for vet to give me a ring about it).

I hate blood and stuff and nearly pass out every time i look at it!!

LOL yes that is normal if it is clear/white as it will be the white blood cells working. Its like when we get a cut and it may weep. I must admit i can deal with horses blood and mine but someone elses blood makes me feel sick and if it gets on my skin i freak out.

I couldnt hold him when the vet did a joint tap on it - poking lots of needles in and drawing fluid out- eeeeewwwww!

Im so soft that i nearly passed out when i got a cast off my arm LOL!
