As many of you know, while I don't have my own horse, I do have a close connection with Ned, a lovely bay gelding at my riding school.

I was mucking out Ned's pen, when his owner came over to me and asked if I was serious about wanting Ned, since she always sees my posts on facebook (I post a lot about him haha) and I said I was...


...I will finally get my own horse around September time and it will be my darling Neddy!!
I honestly can't tell you how excited I am!!
She only wants £400 for him too!!
I can't stop grinning ^^

Haha! I told him I was loaning him first, which he dubbed "engagement period" LOL

Its lovely when things happen like that. Oddly enough I bought my first horse (my little black irish bog cob, The Oryx 1) from a riding school. I started to ride again after a long, long gap, rode this dusty black cob who was as grumpy as hell and fell in love. Paid a fortune to ride him 3 or 4 times a weel as well! After about a year the riding school owner was selling up and she offered him to me. She didnt need to ask twice! I paid a bit more than £400 (lucky you), but 8 years on he is still with me, although not grumpy and dusty any more.

Good luck with Ned, he looks gorgeous.

It can't make up it's mind here! Been lashing with rain, then glorious sunshine! At the moment there are dark clouds out of one window, and blue sky out of the other! Odd!

I'm so excited ^^ I know it'll be hard! Plenty of tears from me and strops from him, but he's well worth it I hope to make him into a model citizen...eventually
