Hehe, people often ask if he's mine as I just blab on about him all the time (sometimes call him "my Neddy" too...did that infront of his owner once, whoops! Luckily she knows I don't think he's mine...yet :P)

I really hope I pass, then I can zoom up and see him whenever I like, without having to say "Muuuuummmmyyyyyy, can I please go and see pony todaaaaaay?"
 
Ahh, congratulations! I remember that feeling, haha, it's unbelievable. (even now, a year later, I still have gobsmacked little moments where I just have to pause and think 'ohwow, she's mine!')
Certainly seem like the perfect combination. :D

Here's a photo from today :) I'd entered him into an online contest "Horsanality" and he came 7th :D

He also lead the whole ride today ^^
Only had 2 big spooks! Once at 2 ducks flying up from the side of the road and then at something in the long crops. I have no idea what that was, some kind of small brick thing? Either way, he took exception to it :P

Update - Well, I failed my test, arg!
2 minors and 2 serious!!

Huff, oh well! Time to rebook and do it again! I think I need some calmers XD
Thankfully my parents are usually willing taxi's so I can get a lift from them to see Nedly, but it's not something I want to be doing for much longer!
 
fab news re ned :), bugger re test :mad: sometimes I think it so much depends on what you come across on the day.

small note, when you continue the trailer training please only do it when the trailer is hitched to something, the jockey wheel isn't designed to hold up a Ned :).

Yea, while I don't think I was treated unfairly, it wasn't a good day! Soooooo busy!

And yea ^^ I got a PM about it, I hadn't realised! I'll certainly make sure it's hitched from now on :)

Also (don't take this the wrong way) but I remember first reading some of your posts and what makes me respect you even more is how you listen to any critisim compared to how you used to react.

When I first joined, I hadn't been on a site like this. I ditched a Lion King site to come here (I was an admin, I like TLK, long story) and am still on several art sites, where I either got no crit, or I got trolled (and I mean serious trolling, not me just being silly)
Buuuut, I think a bit of verbal lashing has made me a better person :P and opened my eyes a bit haha!

A lot of other people might have quit but you have stayed and take it all on board. Its cool :) (So need to pick your brains over drawing as well)

I have just come across this thread and i am so happy for both you and ned. He couldnt ask for a better owner and i loved seeing all the photos of him!
