Some my remember that I lost my ponio earlier this year

and that his semen didn't freeze

, but we had 2 very questionable quality doses of his semen in storage (we are talking single figure % when thawed) that we had never got round to getting rid of, well we used one dose on my coloured pony mare but she didn't take

and so we were only left with one, so i gave my vet the choice of mare to use it on and he chose my Voltaire mare because he feels she is my most fertile mare, so he inseminated her and guess what....

So please everyone cross you fingers and toes that she carries this pregnancy through as little speck of a pregnancy, really is the very last ever pregnancy ever by my ponio!
 
ooohh wonder if they will give all us 'expectant mums' our own piccie gallery! instead of the one they have now as there will be loooaaadds of foals!!
 
Pure Arab - he was French bred, he was bred to compete rather than show (no offence to showing Arabs) has on the continent they breed Arabs to compete as well as show (you don't see alot in this country unfortunately).

His dad has out of 140 progeny:
3 Arab Race Horses
10 International Show Jumping Horses
6 International Show Jumping Ponies
3 Eventing Horses
2 Eventing Ponies
2 Dressage Horses
1 Dressage Pony
9 Graded Stallion sons
22 Breeding daughters

Also endurance lines, my ponios full sister is an international endurance champion but they don't list endurance success on the site I used to collect the data.

(Good stats for any stallion!)

and that was from the last time I checked in 2003.
