Heyy,

I don't if it is just me or it happens to other people too.

When I'm jumping I can remember the stride up to the jump and the stride after but take off, mid air and landing are just a blank. Its really odd, I'm not scared when jumping and I trust my horse totally but my brain doesn't seem to remember it no matter the size of the jump.

Does this happen to other people too?
Or am I just the odd one out :-P

It happens over any size jump :S big or little, My eyes stay open as you can see them open in pictures.

Its bugs me as I want to remember flying :(

You're not completely odd (well you might be but not in this case).
I don't tend to remember the actual jump either. Probably because my focus is on the approach. Once i'm happy with it and on the final stride (or two) my focus switches to what needs to happen on landing. The actual jump is the horses job so i dont think about it too much. :o

I often don't - unless you get that awesome "flying" feeling over it, otherwise my brain is too busy thinking about landing and riding away to remember the actual jump...
