am picking my potential new horse up tomorrow - i am scared sh****ss - i hoep she goes in my trailer - i have her on a month trial with a view to buy (very nice of the owner) i am prayig that she isnt going to be too much for me - she is very quiet at the moment unfit with no muscle so i am praying that she doesnt change too much as she gets fitter - i rode her yesterday (sort of) in a very small field that had no level bit on it so only did a bit of walk and trot - she was lovely but kept waking backwards - i fear my hands are a tad heavy for her so that is something i will have to address with the lessons i am planning to have on her - havnt cantered her yet - will have to wait till she has settled in at our yard and do it in our school - she is very different from what im used to (cob types she is a WB x) so ime excited but scared!!! I would normally be fast asleep by now but i cant sleep tonight - havent slept all week actually! Gonna have a million 'HELP' questions for the forum this month!!!!!!!!

I'm sure it will be fine - it it helps, I am in exactly the same position! My welshy who I've had forever is going out on loan and I have a warmblood mare coming. She's a crabby thing with a real opinion, got every trick in the book and I can't decide if i'm terrified or excited!!
 
I got mine without even riding him LOL so dont worry too much!

You have a months trial which is what it is, you dont need to put pressure on yourself.

just read the F&M posts - been out tonight so not seen the news - new horse on a cow farm - so i hope we will be ok to move her - its only 2 miles down the road. and we are in suffolk - advise please???/
 
I am sure you will both be fine. To get a month to try her is rare and the owners are obviously confident that you are a good match for each other.

Being excited about a new horse is lovely and if you dont get any sleep tonight, by tomorrow your nerves wont be kicking that much because you will feel chilled out you are that knackered.
