I can't wait to .....

That's exciting news about mini-Amber. Fingers crossed she takes soon.

Glasgow still under restrictions, so no indoor pubs for us. We've had the odd drink in beer gardens. Can't wait for vaccines and for there to be less COVID here.

I cant wait for pubs to open so i can have a real guiness!

I never bothered with pubs before lockdown, but since that, im missing just having the opportunity to have a pint!

On the first real sunny day and when pubs are open, beer garden and Guinness WILL happen! ?
(whenever thatll be in Ireland - government seem to think drinking=hugging people, but reality is, i’ve been far closer to folk in the supermarkets during lockdown than i have in a pub!)

As much as I appreciate all the freedoms and good weather vibes that people cannot wait for I have enjoyed being in lockdown I like the rain the wind could do to drop and the temperature rise but honestly I haven't found it too bad. Perhaps going house/dog/pony sitting at my friends beautifully isolated house is a cannot wait but going in June for a week so not far off

The traffic makes me miss lockdown.

My horse is on Week 10 of not setting foot outside his stable. If the vet agrees, he can go in the lunge pen tomorrow. He (or I!) may explode! He tends to buck, squeal, go nuts for the first five minutes when worked in there, but is fine if just let loose. An entire tube of sedalin didn’t stop his antics last time he came off box rest.

I’m quite lame so I might borrow a friend to help get him in there, although I suspect he will be fine. I think I’ll pop his bridle on to get him round there, although taking it off to let him go might be tricky. Maybe just his headcollar after all. Not sure I’ll be able to sleep, I’m very excited!

Until tonight I'd have said I can't wait to dance, but I've just been treated to over an hour of a really good Bublé tribute band and they were fantastic and we were allowed to dance by our tables and it was fab fab FAB!

The traffic makes me miss lockdown.
Definetely, all these people driving massive people carriers, peering over the steering wheel, driving over speed bumps by practically slamming to a stop before them and creeping over them, double parking at schools, not knowing width of cars, Sunday morning drivers, drink drivers! the list is endless.

I can’t wait to have a weekday off so I can go out and have a coffee and a bite to eat with my mum.
Think I’m going to take some time off in July this year.
That's nice, I'd like to take Mum for afternoon tea sometime if i can find some money to do so, there are some great offers on Groupon.

Oh yes! That would be very nice. Feel for you. How is it healing, it was a nasty wound? Have you considered Manuka honey?
It's being cleaned with a tiny bit of dilute hibiscrub twice a day, then in the mornings sprayed with erythromycin and Manuka honey applied in the evenings.
I just feel like things keep going wrong with this horse.

To ride my mare who I brought back from full loan almost 7 weeks ago..she spent 3 weeks in isolation and is very spooky so didn't want to ride then, then on her first day on the yard was double barrelled in the face requiring stitches so havent been able to get a bridle or lunge cavesson on her.

I'm sick of sitting in traffic. I miss wfh. Its just taken me 30 minutes to get home, sitting at one set of lights for most of that. Of the massive queue of cars it decided on one light cycle to only let 4 cars through! Terrific. I swore, loudly.

People don't go when the lights come on either. Or they sit and let people out, by which time the sequence has changed, again!

Even getting to the yard is a big faff now.

I actually miss lock down, I especially miss the clear roads.

I also don't mind the cold rainy weather, I HATED the heatwaves last summer especially that awful week long one.

I can't wait to get another horse :) After losing my boy at the end of 2018, I finally feel ready to start on that journey again & I've saved up a good budget in my horse fund :) There will be photos aplenty when I find him / her xx

There had better be now you've promised :)

A whole year of clear roads was sweet. Why are these people on the roads? Where are they going? Our whole economic system runs on people forever buying stuff they don't need, so other people can sell them the stuff they don't need need, make the stuff they don't, transport the stuff they don't need. And all those people were not on the roads during lockdown (except for the ones moving stuff...but that obviously did not add much traffic). But if you got rid of voracious consumerism, the economy as it stands would crash and far too many people would be unemployed and destitute, because no one in the west has developed an alternative.

My filly is also rebelling against neoliberalism. Actually, just me. She wanted to stay in the field with her mates. I wasn't planning on taking her out of the field, but I wanted her to come with me to the gate. We achieved this after some planting, and a moment of rearing up and flying backwards. Once we eventually arrived at the gate, I gave her a Lickit. See, we provide nice things when you cooperate. You'll soon just want more Lickits, and you'll realize you have to work for them. And you'll do more and more, and there will be less Lickits but you'll work anyway because it becomes what you do, and there's no union for horses so you'll have no choice but to prance around in circles for stagnating wages. Can't wait for her to resign herself to being a drone in the system, like the rest of us.
