Sorry, this just a "I can't wait" post as I have just been to a local riding stables and I have booked my first lesson in 10 years! I am really excited! now all I need to buy is some jodphurs and some boots! yay I can not wait!!!!

It is on Thursday at 4pm! I had a look around the stables and every seems very nice and I have met all the horses and they are all very lovely!

That's great news - do you know which horse you will be riding? Bet you are stiff afterwards though

Yes the name of the horse is Tess and she is a skewbald. Not looking forward to the after effects though......my legs are gonna hurt!! lol ahwell no pain no gain!

Excellent. Hope you have a great time. I got back on after 8 years off a couple of months ago, now looking for a share, the bug has well and truly got it's claws into me again. Be warned.

Remember to buy some deep heat and radox salts for a bath after as well as jods n boots. Believe me you'll need it. But its all worth it, and it gets easier, I don't ache at all now, not even after a 3 hour hack.
