that I would NOT want to jump 1 metre as a preparation for BE90 eventing....
I suppose this is the thing about being on a pro yard - today I was in the school doing flatwork, Jensen was being very good so I thought I would pop a couple of jumps at the end as he loves jumping. There was a course already set up - a few massive fences, no way I was going near those, and a couple of smaller fences.
So we popped the smaller fences a couple of times... all was good.....as usual I got carried away and dismounted to adjust a couple of the other fences down to 90cm. I wondered why they looked a bit small and assumed I'd made a mistake when changing the height, jumped round them all again a couple of times and finished it there as I was very happy.
I went back down to the school afterwards.....turns out that the "small" fences were actually 1m 10! I suppose compared to the other fences (1m 20/1m 30 ish) they would look reasonable
