My first time (properly) clipping a horse and it was my little monkey, Ned!
YO said she hates doing Ned and if she hates something, that means it's bad!
I got him in and groomed him, while she did another pony (She has 15+ to do!). Pony didn't take long and now, it was my go. I was nervous, but tried to act confident...I placed the clippers on his side and...
...nothing.
He stood there good as gold, all the way through!
Ok, he did have a moment where he freaked out and broke a fence, but that wasn't the clippers. One of the ponies had escaped and was at the hay, Ned just wanted to join in! Pony was returned and we resumed.
YO did the jaw, 'armpits' and near his sheath, but I did the rest
And just because he's cute...
